| green Efforts |
Since 2004 Cliff House has been actively diminishing its
environmental impact. Here is a list of what we do:
- Recycle and compost about 80% of our refuse.
- Focus on local and organic products in our Sutro's restaurant.
- Biodegradable and compostable take-out bags.
- Use biodegradable citrus and/or soy based products as well as
enzyme products instead of chemical based cleaning products.
- Use unbleached and recycled paper products.
- Installed automatic light switches and dimmers.
- Have timers on all HVAC equipment.
- We are now artificial transfat free.
- Appointed Art Bradley as the "recycling patrol officer" to enforce participation in this employee driven program.
