Open daily for Lunch and Dinner daily in a stylish casual atmosphere. Lunch is served from 11:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., dinner from 5:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.
Sundays we open for lunch at 11:00 A.M.

The Bistro Open daily for Breakfast from 9:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Sundays we open at 8:30 A.M.. Until 3:30 P.M., we offer Omelets, Soups, Salads and Sandwiches, as well as more substantial fare. Of course we also offer our fresh baked Popovers everyday until 3:30 P.M. Dinner is offered from 4:15 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.(10:00 P.M. Fri and Sat)

Champagne Buffet is available on Sundays from 10:00 A.M. to 3:45 P.M., with the last reservation taken at 2:00 P.M.  It features unlimited food, unlimited Champagne and live Harp music as well as ocean views

Terrace Room
There are very few meeting or special event venues that can be described as truly unique. The Cliff House features a private room called the Terrace Room. This room has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Ocean Beach, has its own outdoor Terrace for ceremonies or other type of occasion

Environmental concerns:
The Cliff House is very active in diminishing its
environmental impact. Here is a list of what we do:

  • recycle and compost about 80% of our refuse.

  • focusing on local and organic products in our Sutro's dining room

  • exchanging "regular" cleaning products to biodegradable citrus and/or Soy based products as well as enzyme products

  • using unbleached and recycled paper products

  • automatic light switches and dimmers

  • timers on HVAC equipment,

  • we are now artificial trans-fat free
